Taupo Relay 2007

A record breaking performance by the hardened Random B@stards! We came in the top 30 of all running teams. I would like to think that this wasn't entirely due to the fact that we had two ex NZ runners in our squad, but, in reality, I'm pretty sure that's what put us ahead of the field.
Everything went as smooth as silk, Sarah's organising, as per usual, was impeccable. We stayed at a Taupo back packers which worked out for the best - and managed a few burbons / beers / wines / slices of pizza before hitting a much needed sleep afterwards.
I'm sorry to say this is my last Random B@stards run for a while - my 5th year in a row! Gini made her second appearance and ran like the wind! I think she even enjoyed the run this time round.
