A shot trip to Taupo. The road trip went pretty well, one mini stop in levin for a nappy change and then only waiouru for lunch. Woolshed on the return, perfectly half way. |

Taupo bush walk, it was good to get out, iris wasn’t really into walking but Tom worked really hard to keep jollying her along, there were a few tears and birdlife didn’t stick around for long! The training begins for the orongorongas in December. Iris has a long way to go... olive and Milla were great. Archie was a trooper and Juni slept. 4/5 ain’t bad! |

Since the drive up was sooo much better, Taupo is back on the cards! It nice with all the autumn leaves and spending time with the turners. The 3 older girls all slept in the big king bed with only the first night taking a while to go to sleep, a few sleeping bag slip outs and iris even slept one night without a visit! |

Iris and Olive’s (friend) friendship is very unique. They just get on so well, both happy having play dates at each other’s houses with no parents. |
Some workmates and I competed in the annual Tough Guy Challenge event on the weekend consisting of 6k or 12k of running, obstacles, mud, hills and electrified crawl throughs. This year I managed to one up last years placing my coming 2nd overall in the two lap, 12k course. The beard must be helping. |
