Spent a few hours at the beach on a beaut day in Taupo. Water was lovely and we all had a swim. |
Uncle Dave’s birthday! He showed a little interest in bread making so we jumped on that and gave him a baneton bowl and sourdough starter (John Wayne, or Willy?). |
Dave produces his first loaf! We had sourdough lessons every day with a fresh loaf at breakfast all but one morning. |

It needs to be said. These two have been nonstop playing with each other these holidays which has been amazing. We have made it! (For the time being) so much so Olive was a bit lost today when iris went back to kindy. Mummy has even managed a few to sew a few skirts! |

7 months today. In our pjs! And couldn’t find the right card! Loving food, hangs on her tummy, interested in everything, thinks her sisters are hilarious, enjoying baths now we can sit (kind of), cut 4 teeth on the top, 2-3naps. Juni is quick to smile or laugh and generally a very cherry little berry. |

Nan day! The girls and Nan met Grandad for lunch on the waterfront. While mummy and Juni hung at home, mostly picking stuff out of her basket sitting! I even managed to sew a skirt with fabric I bought two years ago! New Years resolution : sew more skirts! |

Stage one of the much talked about “tree” house complete! He girls loved the platform and spent all afternoon up there. Now we got to start on stage two - the actual house! |

I did the Mt Holdsworth Loop run for the second time (Andy came too!). Great run, followed by food and a swim in the river. Managed 18th place with a 3:08 time - 8 minutes quicker than last year. |

A cracker of a day. It reached 35 degrees in our deck. We hit Khandallah pool (so warm even Juni got in) and then oriental bay for a dinner & dip. It’s meant to reach a low of 19 tonight! |
