With a better nights sleep and a bit grey out but we headed 40mins over to castlepoint to check out the lighthouse and races! Iris's only word for the day was 'orses' so excited to see them and wondered where they had gone, olive enjoyed watching and creating sand castles too. A lovely and relaxing way to take your kids to the races and the sun came out for our picnic too. Perfect. |

Got freebie tickets from my parents to see the bird themed light show in Otari bush, lots of interesting exhibits especially the man who can mimic all sorts of birds, loved the whirling dervish feathers too, but the best thing is being able to walk through the bush at night with amazing lights. |
