We made it camping! After delaying it a day due to rubbish weather, we had two beautiful days of sunshine. 12 adults and 11.5 children and everyone keen to make it an annual outing. |

Second year of poppies, so I tried the retaining wall planter this time and wow! About 600mm tall! So didn't work that well with my hedge behind! So will maybe try behind... Worked well up around vege tier, some even self seeded. Sweetpea self seeded too. |

Olive and Anthony had a ball - playing mum and dad (or was it mum and mum?), dressing up (as Anna and Elsa - Elsa was complete with high heals) and generally running amok until late. |

Wow. We have nearly been in our house 4 years and never cut back the trees. An unwanted guest of the furry ratty type in our roof forced our hand to do something. It was decided the branches was how it was getting into the house so with the big help of Grandad and Tom they cut back heaps in a short time while Nan kept the kids happy in the paddling pool. Thank you nan and grandad! It now has raised another problem of the clay bank which is very visible... Punga trees?... Yet another project! |
First full day with nan and grandad! They had a lovely day and mummy and daddy got 7 hours in the garden! Sore now! |
