Olive has taken up a new game of dressing Iris, mainly skirts and shoes with a little hairdressing thrown in. Sometimes we will spot Iris just sitting quietly somewhere with a book. Bliss. |
I thought all was quiet and the girls were playing happily so I'll pop on my computer for a spot of work. Next minute two little someone's popped up. |
At kpc today we had a fairy help decorate the Christmas tree! Iris enjoyed passing the dropped ornaments up to olive. Iris really likes hanging with the big kids, loves being part of anything. The best play is always after session... Funny that. |

The martinborough early Christmas weekend begins... Train destination: featherston! 1 hour on the train with the kids and grandparents. They all had a blast. |

Boxing Day walk into town, with smoothies, trains rides and playground fun. Iris is getting familiar with all the family, generally knows everyone by name and loves to high five. Olive & violet have formed a lovely friendship over the past few days, dressed as fairies and loving each other's company and games. |

Super hot day again. So we hit the beach for a dip and picnic. Both girls braved the water and it was quite pleasant. I'm always blown away by the lake with the the 'mountain of ice cream' (olive) in the back drop. Stunning. |
