We enjoyed burger on a plate at the kid friendly Southern Cross (man there were a lot of kids and ours weren't the worst behaved!) even got a sneaky wheat beer and felt like we were in a beer garden in Europe. The sun was out and really hot so we ventured up to the memorial park for some hide and seek with Anthony, Lana & Nige. Iris loved the open spaces and climbing all the steps too. |

Purple cornflour gloop fun. Kids loved making witch fingers and kept them engaged for ages. Iris wasn't even prepared to touch it. With snow, grass, sand and paint textures being introduced lately I think she is overwhelmed by it all. |

Iris is becoming so independent and physical and this slide was a great example. She can now climb up the steps and happily slides down (quite a big slide) with me catching her at the bottom. Giggles all the way down. |
