Since we started Kindy and moved Playcentre days at the start of term we have finally clicked that these were huge changes in Olive's life. Meeting new teachers and kids is never easy and being left in new environments too. It has taught us a lot about our Olive. Olive, you are a kind, gentle big sister, a shy, unsure soul in groups and a determined and loud personality at home. You are doing so well and I need to remind myself you are only three and to help you find your confidence. I caught this lovely moment of you and Mia making play dough and a new friend. |

We bought the piano down to Iris's level and she had a ball. It has been a joy to watch Iris master sitting and discovering the world that comes with it. She sat for ages by her postbox flipping and dropping envelopes for ages. Drawers are great fun and she beelines for the deck at every opportunity. |

We have lovely chats walking to kindy through the park and past the three old men flying toy planes. Every day at kindy Olive is getting a bit more confident and exploring new areas. Nothing is ever straight forward easy but then the rewards are that much greater. |

Olive was very unsure of the sensory pathway we did at Playcentre but after one go and enjoying the slime (which was 'like ice skating') she was the last off it. She held onto Sarah's hand and they helped each other through the trays. Don't try this at home! Olive's feet are still red! |

Since Iris has been able to crawl around she usually comes along and destroys games (or wants to be included) but today was lovely as she was quite happy playing along side big sister and rolled into this position. Her sitting is just goegeous. |
