Iris's tooth in the wild. The only lonely tooth. Looks like she is getting all four front top teeth now but for a while it looked like just fangs! It had been very handy for fruit scraping among other things. |

Kindy Day three: Honeybum the resident bunny at kindy got lots of pats and sunflower leaves today. Olive painted a picture of 'Olive & lyon' and mummy left Olive for 20mins by herself today! Very hot afternoon! |

We cooked up a storm of gingerbread men, stars, ducks & chickens for Karori karnival & playcentre's fundraiser stall. It was really busy and Olive had a ball turning into a cat, buying a bunny, riding a horse, chosing books and not going to the toilet! |

This morning we visited our swan plant to check on Freddie, Theodore, Leo, Frankie (all my baby boy names) but it was Rosie (Olive's choice) who was just hanging there ready to turn into a Chrysalis, so for science we bought Rosie inside so we could watch. Wow. We didn't check for an hour or so and she was mostly covered up! This is Olive's drawing of Rosie the caterpillar. |

We have Monarch caterpillars! Yay! They are tiny but there are lots of them. Mummy is more excited than Olive at this stage. Olive did enjoy watching videos on the process to butterflies, should be interesting. Hope our swan plant can cope. |
