New Year's Day small bbq. A beautiful day (that should have been the day before) paddling pool out for a spot of fishing and dripping out toes. It was hot! Lovely to see the kids having fun together. |

Another fantastic day to farewell the Brisbane Turners at Lyall Bay beach and Spruce Goose. Lyon had a ball at the beach and we ate like kings. Diet starts tomorrow. Olive was stuffed last night and slept well as did Iriee! |

Iris is getting into everything! She is very interested in what Olive is playing with, in other words tries to grab it off her. Usually when she is on the floor we find her into the nappy bag or eating a book or into olive's toy boxes. Let the exploring games begin. |

I've got the garden bug again! Twiglands had some great plants which sparked ideas for the steps, the fuschia standard which took a battering (lost its top) has been given a new home (also had another battering getting there) and has transformed into a baby standard. |

Double playdate on a glorious Wellie day. Olive & Freya scootered 3/4 around the park on their Christmas scooters. They both can't steer, clearly overrated. Had a lovely play and finished it off with ice cream and a solo flying fox. Scarlett & Iris looked on from the buggies in aura of their big sisters. A younger sibling has admiration built in from such a young age. Sigh. Bring on more scootering! I want one now! |

The poppies have started to come out! Most things in the Vege tier are doing well, tomatoes look a little small but flowering, didn't string up the sugar snap peas fast enough but they are still producing. Courgette is still alive! |

A hot day. With Olive under the weather with strep throat we kicked around home and had a lovely afternoon cooling off in the paddling pool. Iris loved exploring the deck, yes she is moving around, circular movements with feet pushing is quite affective. |
