A beaut Saturday. Our day started with the usual five in the bed. We then managed to all get out into the garden for most of the day and made a start on the spring garden clean. We had to devise many distractions for Olive and sleeps for Iris but it can be done! Olive just loves pottering outside, in fact she always has. Earlier in the week we planted the vegetable seeds which olive enjoyed, especially the beans, I think we will see a few bean stalks per hole as the beans needed friends. |

Train ride with nan into Wellington to meet grandad for a milkshake! Olive loved the train ride a lot! Wouldn't stop talking about seeing grandad in his 'work office' and wants to go again on the train. |
Olive has increased her interest in dress ups lately. After enjoying the loud noise my shoes make, she requested 'comfy' shoes next, oh so true Olive oh so true. I even get to do her hair in the mornings!!!! The spotty skirt had to be worn out gardening this weekend too. |
With daddy off at a 12 hour stag do, we spent a day in the life of Nan and Grandad. Olive was very busy! Cleaning the car with grandad, mostly climbing around in the car, with an opportunity piggybacks and then cookie cutting pastry and eating strawberries with nan. With a grand finale eating splodge spaghetti (grandad's specialty) for dinner. The wrong daughter fell asleep on route home but was happy to go back to sleep after a book. Iris however turned owl like and stayed on off awake until 11pm. |
Four months today and we are trying to stuck on our toes. Rolling both ways at every opportunity and lots of lovely chatty noises. Evenings are a bit long with bedtime around 10pm and a few wake ups during the night but we are a happy bunny during the day with a smile at any and everyone. |

Olive is really into building animals or tall towers out of duplo lately, iris gets a dog to play with. Olive continues to adore Iris (sometimes a bit too close) but it is wonderful. Sometimes Olive will say something like 'when Iris is bigger we can do it together' she is really looking forward to having a sibling to do stuff with. |

First train ride with Nan to johnsonville! Loved it so much nearly wouldn't get off at the right stop! Started role playing as a doctor and her medical kit off to 'catch a train' tonight. |
