This step stool has changed our lives. Olive wants to wash her hands as 'step step' is involved. Five o'clock grizzles in the kitchen has turned into 'help' with the flour. Now when I mention baking with mama, olive goes directly to the step stool, 'help' love this help stage, long may it continue. We always have an extra tiny pair of hands with the washing too.

Olive's latest obsession. 'Beeee' 'help' so we tied buzz bee to the handle bar and he just cruzes along with Oli.

Tom got stuck into demo day! Got the old walldrobe down and out, in a lot less time than it took me to clear out the contents. Then he cut a 20cm square in the wall and decided he needed a snooze. By the time we got home from our walk in the drizzle one side was gone! What have we done!!! Eek. Good job honey ;-)

While daddies worked on our double doors, the cousins played. Later that day when it got too noisy we checked out Ben Burns playground. Really great for Olives age and we finally had a sleep on route home with pies for the boys.

We came home to a new gibbed wall and a study nook! Very exciting. There was still a special olive size door available for doing house circuits. Just. Great job Prosser/pecks boys.

We survived our first rostered day at Playcentre. Olive was a champ, very busy off trying all sorts. Got really into painting trains and making paint tracks, stamping playdoh and sat for the whole morning tea. We were exhausted come 12.30. Big nap to boot! Great morning Oli.

A possible suitor for our Oli. They had a lovely play date with lots of smiles while mums talked business.

Fun with the auzzie cousins at the botanical gardens. We enjoyed feeding the ducks and there were a few more ducklings too.

Olive was very pleased to see 'eyon' Thanks peck grandparents!

Olive's counting is really coming along, If you we ask what time it is, it is always either six o'clock or four. She always seems to miss five? and when asked how many of something it is always two, two, two. ________________________ Gini Peck Graphic Designer BDes (Hons) Molehill Creations Ltd M/ 021 081 17399

This conversation was taken after Uncle Dave had finished for the day (building our study nook) Aunty Jen, Cousin Alex and Violet came for a play too. Olive kept pointing at the wall and saying 'Noise' 'noise' (it was very noisy) and then 'Dave' 'Dave' she would also point at the timber which did hold up our wall (which is now gone) and say 'Dave'. 'Tools'. So now Dave is the noisy one in the family - fits doesn't it. ________________________ Gini Peck Graphic Designer BDes (Hons) Molehill Creations Ltd M/ 021 081 17399

An array of football skills present here.

This has been happening more and more lately. Olive wanting to play games like 'chase' around the coffee table 'horse' ride on mummy's back (not a popular choice by mummy) and 'ball' with 'eyon' (it has taken Olive a very long time to use Lyon's name) We can see how much fun these two are going to have. Just need to work on Lyon listening to Olive!
|
Olive can finish our book sentences with a few of her favourite books, like Rudie Nudie and Hairy Maclary. So all those nights of reading she was listening after all!=
|
Once Olive gets into a groove, she won't stop! she emptied most of her toy box into her cot and to keep the momentum going she kept spinning!=
